Last night, the Vachette finally watched Mary Poppins. I purchased a digital copy of the movie a good two years ago, thinking that it would be fun to watch with my daughter — it was, and still is, one of my favorite children’s movies — but, somehow, the Vachette got it in her head that Mary Poppins was a scary movie. She is not one to be reasoned with (what small child is?), and thus, we only just got around to watching it.
Then, as it was time to turn out the lights, she said, “Mommy, can we go to London?” Naturally, I said yes.
That’s my girl!
