We’ve been incredibly lucky this month in terms of weather. For the most part, it’s been bright, sunny and warm. Not t-shirt weather, mind you, but warm just the same. So the Vachette and I have been spending lot of time outside.
On one such fantastic day, we took the T to Boston Public Library to attend a singalong in the newly renovated Children’s Room (Bravo, Boston, on a job well done!) After the singalong, I proposed going to the Tadpole Playground in Boston Common (see photo above).
This playground was a great place for the Vachette to engage her inner primate. Taking picture of her can often be challenging. She is not the most cooperative of models. But bring on a playground and a chance to show off her tricks, and she can be quite obliging.
Why walk on the bridge when you can climb on the side?
Or twist yourself around it?
The variations are endless.
Why go down a slide when you can hang from it?
And when you tire of the playground, Daddy’s leg is always a good option.
